Do you know a young person who is always crafting and creating? Building on these skills, they can learn the basic steps of sewing, both hand and machine, and create something that can show off with pride. Each lesson is tailored to their individual interests and ensure that the level is age appropriate. I hold an enhanced DBS check and am fully insured.

Are you interested in learning to sew but not sure about 1-1 lessons? Then Sip & Sew events are perfect for you! They are a great opportunity to get your friends together or join as an individual and meet new people! Perfect for complete beginners, each project will give you the opportunity to learn basic machine and hand sewing and leave with something to be proud of. We start learning the skills needed for sewing from as young as 2. Sewing encourages various skills that are needed to prepare the children for starting school. From fine motor skills, needed to hold the needle and hand eye coordination to push it through the hole, to social skills, sharing and discussing ideas. Each session covers various aspects of the EYFS framework and offers the children the opportunity to sit calmly in small groups and focus on a task.
