It can seem quite daunting when you first start your search into the made to measure world. There are lots of fabrics to choose from, different linings and even different headings. But I will be there to help you, with a few tips and tricks to make the whole process a lot easier. Starting from the beginning, I will work with you every step of the way, making it a stress free journey. From guiding you in the right direction for fabric samples, to sorting all the measuring and even hanging and dressing them at the end. I offer a range of heading options, from traditional Pinch Pleat and Pencil Pleat, to more modern Eyelet and Wave. Roman Blinds are fast becoming one of the most desirable window treatments. They combine the practicality of roller blinds but offer  softness like curtains. Available as both standard and blackout blinds, they are the perfect solution to every room, from the kitchen and bathroom, and even your bedroom. All roman blinds are handmade by myself, using the traditional rod pocket method. Each blind is fully compliant with all UK and European child safety standards and include breakaway chains. Cushions are not only practical but add a layer of softness and comfort to our rooms. Use them to tie together various colours throughout your scheme or to add bold contrast. They can be made in any shape and size, with or without piping and all come with a zip as standard. Cushions don't require lots of fabric and make perfect use of remnants. So don't stash your leftover fabric away in a cupboard, let's make use of it!

If you enjoy the traditional window treatment set up then tiebacks are often the finishing touch. They can be made to match your curtains or could contrast to add interest. Available in various shapes and lengths to suit the style of your curtains. Like cushions, they make great use of any leftover fabric from your curtains. So if you are unsure what to do with any bits leftover, have you considered tiebacks?

Over the years I have had the pleasure to be involved in some amazing, unique projects, such as the one above. An old VW camper van that had undergone a full makeover, was in need of some new updated blinds. I custom designed and made all 16 blinds to fit each window perfectly. Lampshades are a unique way of adding your own style into your room design. Like cushions, you can use small leftover pieces of fabric, so are perfect for using up remnants. All lampshades are made by myself using UK made kits. The kits are BSEN safety tested (BS EN 60598-1-2008) and are fire-resistant with any fabric or wallpaper. Have you ever struggled to find the right shade in the right colour and the right size? Well you don't need to worry, when one can be custom made just for you!

The last piece of the soft furnishing journey, is hanging and dressing your window treatment. Mainly associated with curtains, but also applies to blinds. This is the final finishing touch that will elevate them to the next level. Using professional hanging techniques and a couple of trade secrets, it is my pleasure to offer this service complimentary, with all made to measure orders.
